Accelerated Minds is my last wholecar train in the city of Amsterdam, Netherlands

What is it about trains that makes them the best surface for graffiti? Many would say the adrenaline and difficulty involved. True. But even when there is legal permission involved, hence avoiding the usual risk, it still remains as exciting and fascinating a task.

And if you don’t believe it, just ask Kenor, who’s been commissioned to decorate this old 1970’s Denmark train that’s been transformed into a hotel as the “Train Lodge”.

What was once a convoy that operated between Amsterdam, Denmark, is now sitting at the Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station, thanks to this initiative by SAMA Street Art Museum Amsterdam, a project curated by Anna Stolyarova.
