Ritmica
A temporary wall for the Arnau Gallery project, Barcelona 2018.
Before opening his show “Ritmica” at N2 Gallery, Kenor has left behind an intervention in the streets, with the same meaning. His synthetic collage of colors covered the wall of the theater, 15 x 2 m, which can be seen in Plaça de Raquel Meller, in front of Avenida Paral·lel, is curated by Street Art Barcelona and is part of the actions of the platform “Recover the Arnau Theatre”.
Fernando Alcalá tells us the story from his particular point of view through these pictures.
BETEVÉ interviewed Kenor about his work for the Arnau Gallery “As a muralist, I celebrates a space like the one provided by the Arnau Gallery, which will host the work for a month, but I miss the years before 2006, when Barcelona was a city with much wider boundaries for the various artistic interventions in the street. I always look for the Ravals in the world. In addition to Barcelona, I find them in Berlin, Marseille or Naples, places in the heart of cities, with people from all over talking and communicating also with me, during my work: I love this because I am painting for people.
