Dotze Artistes Dotze Escoles, Project promoted by Ajuntament de Castelló de la Plana, EASD Castelló and MIAU Fanzara

Next Tuesday, November 14th I will attend a talk entitled: “Rhythm. Music and abstraction” at the EASD Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny de Castelló

My creative development begins, generally, by choosing a song and interpreting it. The techno music of Detroit, its abstract and futuristic rhythm is perceived in a composition based on straight lines that overlap and intersect and together with color, generate rhythm in my artwork.

When a melody or a change of rhythm is associated, to each set of lines and colors, it is possible for me to transmit all its potential. I want the viewer to “feel part of a sound fragment”.

In the talk that I will give in the EASD Castelló I will talk about all this and much more.

Actually I will be in Castelló much more days, to be precise from the 13th to the 17th of November I will be at the CEIP Fadrell School for a special workshop with kids for the Dotze Artistes, Dotze Escoles project : 12 international artists are visiting 12 schools in the city, bringing urban art closer to the students of Castellón.

The project is organized and supported by the Ajuntament de Castelló de la Plana, EASD Castelló and MIAU Fanzara, who intends to expand his signature and make the city of Castellón an authentic urban art museum through artistic interventions on the walls of schools.
