Kenor will transform the Tram Espronceda station in Barcelona, a project curated by Rebobinart.
Barcelona’s TRAM public transport company launches the latest Art al TRAM intervention at the Espronceda semi-basement tram stop, specifically, at the Espronceda stop on lines T5 and T6. This artistic project will be carried out by Kenor, who will base the work on three key concepts: connection, movement and anamorphism, a visual illusion in art, especially as used to trick the eye into perceiving a painted detail as a three-dimensional object, playing with the architecture of the space. A combination that shows the representation of sounds, movements and rhythms of urban life.
The walls of the stop will become a geometric abstraction and an explosion of colors that represent urban ideas such as speed, traffic flow, voices and the diversity of public transport users.
Art al TRAM is a project that uses art to revitalize transit spaces and turn them into friendlier places, as well as to generate unique experiences for passengers and TRAM staff. The previous edition of Art al Tram included work by Mur0ne, Amaia Arazzola, Elisa Capdevila.
