It’s a mural for the Espronceda Tram station.

Barcelona’s TRAM public transport company launched Art al TRAM intervention at the Espronceda semi-basement tram stop, on the lines T5 and T6. This artistic project has been designed on three key concepts: connection, movement and anamorphism, a visual illusion in art, especially as used to trick the eye into perceiving a painted detail as a three-dimensional object, playing with the architecture of the space. A combination that shows the representation of sounds, movements and rhythms of urban life.

The walls of the tunnel became a geometric abstraction and an explosion of colors that represent urban elements such as speed, traffic flow, voices and the diversity of public transport users.

Art al TRAM is a project that uses art to revitalize transit spaces and turn them into friendlier places, as well as to generate unique experiences for passengers and TRAM staff. The previous edition of Art al Tram included work by Mur0ne, Amaia Arazzola, Elisa Capdevila.
